As one of the New Year resolutions, the Administration wants to ensure that all the property owners’ information is correct on the WTC Panama Complex Fire Insurance Policy. If you are aproperty owner in the WTC Panama Complex, you should have received a physical copy of this information some months ago from the Administration. WTCA recognize Mr. Guillermo Ronderos for his commitment as board member
Mr. Guillermo Ronderos, the President of WTC Panama hasbeen recognized for his commitment as a board member by the worldwide association of the WTC’s (the WTCA), and additionally has been valuedfor his contributions as the head of the Digital Task Force. The WTCA also recognized Mr. Remy Swaab, Executive Director of WTC Panama for his involvement as an active consultant since inception of said Digital Task Force. Read more

Expand Your Business: Visit the Taiwan Trade Shows
World Trade Center Taipei, Taiwan, will host 39 international shows in 2015. By organizing Taiwan Trade Shows, they help enterprises around the world to explore opportunities across various industrial sectors and help generate business. Throughout the 35 trade shows held in 2014, more than 31,000 booths were used by over 11,000 exhibiting companies. More importantly, the shows attracted almost 81,000 visitors from around the world looking to buy products from companies in Taiwan. The shows generated trade turnover and business opportunities, and on the back of a recovering global economy, 2015 is expected to be an even bigger year for all of the shows. Read more

Economic growth in Panama still strong
In 2014 Panama was one of the countries with the highest economic growth rate of Latin America. In its latest rapport, the World Bank estimates a growth of 6,8% for the year 2014. The sectors that have proven to be the strongest are construction, transport, communication and trade. Similar growth has been estimated for 2015. The biggest government expenses ahead include the metro line and the investment in agriculture. Read more

Panama sends 512 teachers to US in bilingual scheme
Panama will be sending more than 500 teachers and students from the Juan Demóstenes Arosemena Superior Normal School in Veraguas to study English in the United States. The trips are part of the "Bilingual Panama" program, which aimsto improvethe level of English in the Panamanian education system. The government plans on spending $135.4 million on the program in the next five years, including $7.6 million on the first phase. The goal of the program is, eventually, to train 10,000 English teachers. Read more

Sixmillion containers through Panamanian Ports
According to the Maritime Authority of Panama, the Panamanian ports have moved 6.1 million containers in 2014 until the month of November. This represents an increase of 2.7 percent in compare to the same period of time in 2013. The Panama Balboa Port has moved the most containers in 2014 with more than 2.9 million containers, which represent a 4.6 percent increase with the year before. Read more
