WTC Panama Complex to its Tenants

Safety First: Upcoming Fire Drill

As expressed in previous occasions; to the WTC Panama’s Administration, safety always comes first. It is imperative that all members, tenants and staff of the WTC Panama’s facilities know how to respond and actin case of an emergency situation; this is why the administration has decided to perform a fire drill soon. The fire drill will not be previously announced in order to evaluate and instruct how to act in risky situations. In 2012, a fire drill was performed and led satisfactory results. The evacuation was almost immediate. The administration is hoping to achieve those results again. The fire-drill applies only to the commercial area and the office tower. The hotel will perform its own. Remember to act fast and keep calm.

Maintenance and Improvement

As representatives of the world’s most important business network, it is our duty to maintain our infrastructure and technology in pace with advances. For this reason WTC Panama, communicates the remodeling and updating plans for the lobby and elevators. The objective is to provide the members and tenants, elegant and comfortable facilities to do business. The Administration apologizes for any inconveniences or discomfort caused by our efforts in satisfying the needs with excellence, for those who share our installations.

Last week, Capital Financiero and La Estrella, in their July 21, 2014 edition, published WTC Panama director, Mr. Remy Swaab’s article, which presented the opportunities and advantages of WTC membership. Mr. Swaab welcomed all enterprises interested in taking advantage of WTC Panama’s services to promote international commercial exchanges facilitated by our platform. WTC Panama, counts with a platform from which access to our prestigious members and data bank of many projects convenient for businessmen in Panama and Latin America are accessible. Mr. Swaab explained to the press, the new strategy to Project WTC Panama; where adding value and validation to enterprises that seek transactions with Panamanian businesses, be it commercial or as investors. WTC Panama seeks to be a reference point and provide support towards those goals. Among the projects to be realized, a "visitor's center" was mentioned for business possibilities in Panama under WTC Panama’s trajectory and solid reputation provide.

Upgrading to new ID Tags

The Administration of WTC Panama is looking forward to improve the PH WTC Panama’s safety, with as purpose the wellbeing of all users. They would like to exhort you all to carry your ID Tags in a visible place when you enter and exit the building. This way you will contribute to our security system’s efficiency. Always faithful to the WTC’s brand lines, they will change the current image of the ID Tag to keep up with the branding standards of the WTCA, including color and design. The Administration will publish a schedule with the dates and time you can take the corresponding picture. The new ID Tag will be cost free, nevertheless, those who don’t have one at the moment will have to pay for it. The ID Tag will feature access technology for a project that the Administration would like to implement in the near future. The project involves a remote access control, where the ID Tag will be required. We encourage you all to collaborate with the Administration in order to improve the efficiency and give everyone a better service.

The German Embassy in Panama celebrate their World Cup triumph

The German Embassy in Panama located at the WTC Panama, celebrated Germany’s big triumph at the 2014 FIFA World Cup this past month of June. WTC Panama would like to congratulate and share their joy. Go Die Mannschaft, World Champion!

WTC - Lille Arras

WTCA welcomes World Trade Center Lille Arras, in Lille, France as the new member of our integrated platform. It opened its doors on the 16th of June, 2014, making it the second in the city. At the center of the London-Brussels-Paris triangle, this center provides access to the largest and most competitive market in Europe. It provides services, infrastructure, conference and exhibition space, commercial and financial information and advisory services. Reciprocity with WTC Bogota

WTC Bogota expressed their interest in solidifying their relationship with WTC Panama by opening their doors to Panamanian business men to their services and installations. Founded in 1983, WTC Bogota guides its activities under the WTCA ideals to promote international commerce. They count with many services and advantages making then an exceptional destiny to do business. Among the many facilities they count with, the Royal Hotel chain stands out, with more than 10 hotels in the city that provide luxury and many benefits for their guests. Among the commercial and entrepreneurial space available, they count with a “Business Club” with event halls for corporate events.
